FARNESE DE ANDRADE

Born in Minas was a painter, illustrator and sculptor, he was known for his assemblages in which he used doll heads and bodies corroded by the sea, found in beaches and embankments, combined with niches, redomas and oratories, as well as ex votos and photographs of the family, the artist was isolated from the generation of the 1960s due to his poetry based on the unconscious and subjectivity.

Farnese did not project his works, they arose spontaneously between manual gesture and mental elaboration.
