Jandyra Ramos Waters (1921: Sertãozinho, SP). Painter, sculptor, recorder and poet.
She resided in England between 1945 and 1950. She studied at the Country Council Art School in Sussex, England, in 1947. Back in Brazil in 1950, she studied painting with Yoshiya Takaoka and sculpture and ceramics with André Osze, São Paulo, SP. She studied engraving with Darel and Marcelo Grassmann, and mural painting with Clóvis Graciano, at the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation, São Paulo, in 1952. Also in 1952, she studied art history at the University of São Paulo. She began to participate in collective exhibitions in 1956.
